Editorial Services

Whether you have the bones of your copy or simply some ideas scribbled on a piece (or many pieces!) of paper, I can help you formulate, structure or restructure, rewrite, redraft, prepare or polish your text in accordance with your desired outcome.

Please note that I do not “write” school or university essays for anyone from scratch. What I can do is help you to bring all your thoughts and ideas together so your completed work is clear, to the point, answers the question and doesn’t go off-topic.

Proofreading

Proofreading your own words can be tricky. If you have been working on something for a while, you might have the overall theme of your piece thrashing around in your head. You may have drafted and redrafted quite a few times. Sometimes, despite your best effort, the finished product might still contain a few grammatical errors, convolutions and typos that you just cannot see!

We all make mistakes like this. We are all susceptible from time to time when we are on a roll (I wrote “role” instead of “roll” in my own newsletter the other day…argh!). We try to hurry and get caught up in the moment.

Having an objective, critical eye giving your piece a final once-over will ensure that your finished work is the best it can possibly be.

I can type and edit your voice-recorded reports or dictation notes for record-keeping purposes or to keep as notes towards your bigger project.

Professional photography can be expensive and most of the time - for example for weddings and high-end marketing - it’s absolutely worth it.

But sometimes, you just need some really good photos.

There’s nothing more frustrating than paying a lot of money to get great images of people from your workplace - perhaps for your website or a brochure or a series of social media posts - only to have that person leave the company the following week!

I can shoot products, people and locations to go with your marketing or media content at a price that’s much more pleasing - particularly if these photos will only be seen fleetingly and/or you need to regularly update things.
