Hello, I’m Nikki Shilling.
I believe we all have stories, innovations and unique ideas that ought to be shared. Now and then, we may need help to convey those thoughts and ideas eloquently.
TaleBlaze was born from a lifelong love of words, colour and vibrant imagery.
As a child with an evocative imagination, I was often asked to read my stories and poems out to the class. But it was in the 90s that I discovered the publishing world, working as an editor for Murdoch Cookery Books.
I thrived in publishing and went on to complete a Diploma in Book Editing & Publishing which lead to work at Scholastic Australia and then Dorling Kindersley.
There were also a few editorial stints in magazine publishing too - a very different environment!
My other passion is Yoga. In fact, I have been running my own business since 2004. I know what it is like to churn out all the web and social content.
